Motor Yard, CA

I had read about the "Art in the Streets" exhibition that was opening at the MOCA (which is now open, and awesome!) and told my friend Erik (a collector, and artist himself) about the show. Since we couldn't afford to go to the opening at the MOCA, we decided to checkout our neighborhood. He took me to the Motor Yard, which is an old, abandoned rail road track running next to the 10 Fwy where he and his friends and many others would go to paint.

This tunnel has been fenced and gated and re-fenced many times by the city, but it can't stop anyone from using a pair of bolt cutters to get in and paint again :)
